It is among the most romantic destinations in the Greek islands and also in the world. Located in the Aegean Sea, in the Cyclades islands, Santorini Island was the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the world and what remains today is a submerged volcano and a caldera. Amazing villages has been constructed on the edge of this caldera, with Cycladic architecture and breathtaking view to the sea.

Apart from the fabulous caldera villages, Santorini Greece is also famous for the romantic sunsets and the volcanos with amazing luxury resorts overlooking those almost unreal images that nature has created.

Enjoy the picturesque and romantic island of Santorini. We highly recommend you visit to Volcano and the Hot Springs, the red, white and black beach, to see the Archaeological excavations at Akrotiri, or just to marvel the famous sunset in Oia. So much to do and so much to see, it definitely is a place you will have to return to once more.

After breakfast, get moving with your tour in Santorini Island. Visit of Akrotiri, which same as at Pompeii it was buried under a rain of ashes around 1600 BC.AD, the picturesque village of Pyrgos located in the southern part of the island. In 1967, excavations in the southwest of Santorini uncovered an ancient Minoan city buried deep beneath volcanic ash from the catastrophic eruption of 1613 BC. Housed within a cool, protective structure, wooden walkways allow you to pass through the city. Peek inside three-storey buildings that survived, and see roads, drainage systems and stashes of pottery.

Continue to the village of Oia which is a traditional settlement in the north of Santorini. Perched on the northern tip of the island, this once centre of trade in antiquity now reflects the renaissance of Santorini after the devastating earthquake of 1956. Restoration work has restored the beauty overwhelmingly enjoyed by visitors, though signs imploring visitors to be quiet and respectful remind you that for some, Oia is home year-round and a functioning village. You will struggle to find a more stunning spot in the Cyclades. Built on a steep slope of the caldera, many of its dwellings nestle in niches hewn into the volcanic rock.

End the day with an amazing wine tasting and lunch – there is no better way to end the day.
