Terms & Conditions

Reservations

Reservations may be made through an authorized travel advisor by:

  • Emailing sales@via-croatia.com,
  • Submitting a request via our official website's contact forms.
  • Calling the phone number listed on www.via-croatia.com.

All bookings are confirmed in writing. Proposals and quotations are valid for a limited time and subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Deposits & Final Payments

The initial quote and first revision are complimentary. For additional modifications, a non-refundable service deposit of USD 500 is required. This amount will be applied toward the final balance upon confirmation. If the trip is not confirmed, the deposit serves as compensation for professional consulting time.

Failure to receive final payment by this date may result in automatic cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit. In the event of billing or currency errors, we reserve the right to reissue invoices with corrected pricing. Should currency fluctuations exceed 2% against the Euro (EUR) at the time of final payment, Via Croatia reserves the right to adjust the total trip price accordingly.

For bookings not including yachts, following T&C apply:

  • For bookings confirmed 91 days or more prior to departure, a 20% deposit is required to secure services.
  • The final balance is due 90 days prior to departure.

For bookings including yacht charters, following T&C apply:

Catamarans, Motor yachts (including Agape Rose), and Sailing yachts require 50% non refundable deposit to confirm the yacht charter. Final balance will be stated upon reservation as each vessel has its own payment terms and conditions.

For cruiser yachts (Aretha and Symphony), $10,000.00 deposit payment is needed to confirm the charter. Second payment is due 180 days prior to the charter start date and is equal to 50% of the charter cost. Final payment is due 90 days prior to the charter start date.

Some bookings may include separate contract for yacht booking except this one.

Credit Cards & Payments

We accept major credit cards. Payments are processed only upon receipt of a completed authorization form containing all required details. All charges will appear as "Via Croatia", "Via Tours & Trade LLC" or "Via Magnifica d.o.o." depending on the operating entity.

Payments made via credit card are subject to a 3.5% merchant processing fee. All wire transfers must be received net of bank fees.

Revision Fees

A USD500 revision fee applies per transaction for itinerary changes after confirmation. Confirmation means, paid deposit or final payment. Changes to travel dates or key inclusions within will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to regular cancellation fees. All charter routes must be made within 90 days prior to departure.

Cancellations & Cancellation Fees

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Via Croatia. Cancellation fees are calculated based on above terms and conditions and all deposit payments paid for booking confirmations are not refundable.

Optional tours and experiences are non-refundable once purchased. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 days after written confirmation.

Via Croatia is not responsible for any additional costs or penalties associated with air tickets or other arrangements not booked through us.

Force Majeure

In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond our control (including pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, wars, or government restrictions), Via Croatia is not legally obligated to issue refunds for undelivered services. However, every reasonable effort will be made to rebook the traveler within 365 days under similar conditions.

Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and force majeure disruptions.

Refunds for Unused Services

Once travel arrangements have commenced, no refunds will be issued for unused accommodations, meals, transfers, tours, or any other included services. All included services will always be clearly stated within the proposal under the inclusion section.

Service Complaints

Any service-related concerns should be reported immediately during travel to allow for prompt resolution. All formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 15 days after the completion of the service. Complaints received after this period will not be considered.

Passports & Visas

A valid passport is required for all travelers, with at least six months of validity beyond the date of return. Non-U.S. citizens must verify visa requirements with the relevant consulates.

It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to obtain the necessary travel documentation.

Health Requirements

Travelers should consult their physician or relevant health authorities for the latest health requirements and vaccination recommendations prior to travel.

Travelers with Special Needs

Clients with disabilities or special requirements must inform Via Croatia at the time of booking. We will make every effort to accommodate specific needs; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of all services or facilities for travelers with mobility challenges.

Young Travelers

Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Discounts may be available depending on the age of the traveler and program specifics.

Accommodations

Hotels and properties listed in itineraries are confirmed in advance based on availability and category. Standard check-in is from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 11:00 a.m.

Early check-ins, late check-outs, or room upgrades are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. All concerns regarding room standards or conditions must be raised directly with hotel management at check-in or concierge team.

Air-Conditioning

Air-conditioning standards may differ from those in the rest of the world. Operating hours are determined by each property and are not guaranteed 24/7. Via Croatia provides accurate information regarding available amenities at the time of booking.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Program prices include all items expressly stated in the confirmed itinerary and/or booking confirmation. Optional experiences and services not explicitly mentioned as "included" are excluded unless indicated as a mandatory surcharge (such as local taxes or tourist fees).

Safety & Liability

Participation in Via Croatia programs involves certain inherent risks. Via Croatia acts as an intermediary between travel agents, clients and independent suppliers (hotels, guides, transport providers, yacht owners, etc.).

We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delays caused by third parties, force majeure events, or client negligence. While every effort is made to ensure safe and seamless operations, clients acknowledge participation at their own risk. Medical services and facilities may vary by destination; travelers are responsible for any resulting costs.

Reservations, Payments & Data Protection

Payments are securely processed through Stripe Pay Way, which meets the latest international data protection and PCI-DSS standards. Via Croatia does not store client credit card data on its servers.

Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended. Insurance coverage should include health, accident, baggage, and trip cancellation.

Damage & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence to property, accommodation, or transport facilities. Via Croatia bears no responsibility for damage resulting from a traveler's actions, third-party negligence, or events beyond our control.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Croatian law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction rests with the Municipal Court in Zlatar, Republic of Croatia.

For transactions processed through the U.S. office, U.S. law may apply where relevant.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment, or accepting these terms and conditions by clicking "Accept" the traveler and/or travel advisor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These terms are binding upon confirmation and serve as the complete agreement between Via Croatia and the contracting party.
