Trip itinerary

Welcome to Split, the second largest city in Croatia and the city that has it all: Roman ruins and grand museums alongside fashionable cafes and trendy shops.

Without hiding their pride, the people of Split will tell you that their city is “the most beautiful one in the world and beyond”. Split will surely convince you of this as soon as you discover it! Thanks to the age-old Diocletian Palace and other historic monuments, the city is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1979. Many of the historic buildings are still standing even today. Because of this, a visit to Split is like time travelling into other dimensions.

Overnight in Split.

National Park Krka is among the most popular and most beautiful Croatian national parks. Cycling Krka River National Park is breathtaking and you will have a chance to experience it on this private tour. There is hardly a better way to discover the park than by cycling. The trail will take you through the protected nature rich with history. Our first stop will be at Lake Visovac where a boat will take us to the small island of the same name. Situated on that islet is a Franciscan monastery. Where you visit the museum and learn about the interesting history of the area. On our way back we stop for a walk to the 44 m (144 ft) high Skradinski Buk waterfall. We finish our tour in Skradin, where we started. We recommend you to explore Skradin too. It is a pretty little town with a labyrinth of small streets. This trip will introduce you to the calmer, quieter side of Dalmatia. And we are sure you will enjoy it.

Overnight in Split.

Travel back in time on this private walking tour of Split, and discover the largest city of the Dalmatia region with a local guide. During our Split tour we’ll explore the narrow streets of Diocletian’s palace and Old Town. The story of Split began when Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build a palace for his retirement days here, on a peninsula close to the great Roman city of Salona. Many centuries later, that palace and the city that was born within its walls was to become part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

After sightseeing tour you will emabark on a private boat and start ride to Brač island. Brač island is bursting with historic sites dating back to Ancient Greece and the Middle Ages. Brač is famous for its Golden Horn Beach in Bol, perhaps the best known and most beautiful beach in Croatia.

Overnight on the boat.

One of the best parts of exploring the island by bike is that you can experience incredible 360-degree views of the stunning countryside and coasts around you. And there’s truly nothing like cycling along the coast with the glittering sea beside you, the sun on your face, and an open road before you. For all those to whom enjoying life equals enjoying the countryside, the island of Hvar provides an ideal place for an exciting adventure. Well maintained cycling routes shall reveal a timeless beauty of the nature. Visit the attractions up-close and take in the atmosphere, while your expert local guide provides you with all the information and stories about the island on this private tour.

Tonight’s dinner will be at a local farm called Maha. The cuisine at Maha is homemade and prepared from fresh, high quality ingredients. This genuine Mediterranean ambiance has even enchanted some famous guests, including Bill Gates and Bernie Ecclestone.

The Mljet island is located in the south of the Adriatic coast in Croatia. This is an island of untouched nature, olive groves, vineyards, rich forests, and diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy the pristine beauty of the natural surroundings while on a private biking tour. The northwestern part of Mljet is a protected national park with lush vegetation, seawater lakes, and thick pine forests.  It’s a home to two interconnecting salt-lakes: Veliko Jazero and Malo Jazero, in the Mljet National Park. On a small islet of Veliko Jazero, you’ll find the 12th century Benedictine Monastery of St. Mary, which is a significant part of the history of the Illyrian tribes, the Roman Empire and the Republic of Dubrovnik. They are surrounded by beautiful, rich forests creating an image of an unspoiled natural world. This private, guided biking adventure will begin in the national park. First we will pass by two saltwater lakes, the most visited attractions on the island. Then we will cycle to the central part of the island to explore the deep pine forests and pristine natural surroundings.

Overnight on the boat.

Peninsula of Pelješac provides incredibly scenic cycling routes, starting in the palm-lined beautiful town of Trstenik, continuing across the vineyards, picturesque hills overlooking the Korčula and Mjet on one side and the mainland on the other. The route ends in Prapratno, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. Pelješac is one of the most laid-back areas of Croatia where beautiful vineyards provide some of the most beloved Croatian wines. Pleasant ambient, stunning views and cultural heritage blend into unique quiet and sleepy Mediterranean experience.

Overnight on the boat.

Locals from the Mali Ston area are known for the cultivation of oysters and mussels since Roman times. The first written documents about cultivating oysters date from the Dubrovnik Republic. Oysters from this region are known as a natural aphrodisiac. You will be taken on a boat ride and enjoy the untouched natural beauty of the protected eco-system of Mali Ston bay, along with its many small islets. This is also an educational experience since we gladly share our knowledge and experience about the process of cultivating oysters with our guests. Visit an oyster farm and learn how to gather oysters and open them. Then have a taste along with a glass of local wine.

Overnight on the boat.

In the morning you will disembark form the boat and explore the wonders of Dubrovnik’s old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important living historical monuments in this part of Europe.
